K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Reservation
All bookings made with K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- We receive the required deposit payment.
- We send you a written booking confirmation and invoice.
All travellers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete.
2. Deposit and Payments
- A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 45 days before your arrival date in Tanzania.
- For bookings made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Certain services such as domestic flights, luxury lodges, or special permits may require full payment at the time of reservation.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other approved payment methods communicated by K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist.
3. Prices and Currency
- All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to changes in government taxes, park fees, concession fees, fuel surcharges, or supplier rates.
- Once full payment has been received and your booking has been confirmed, no additional charges will be applied unless requested by the traveller.
4. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
The following cancellation charges apply:

| No-show or early departure | 100% of total tour cost |
Please note that non-refundable items such as domestic flights, permits, or special accommodation reservations may incur additional cancellation charges.
5. Changes and Amendments
Any requested amendments after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Changes may include:
- Travel dates
- Accommodation upgrades or downgrades
- Additional activities
- Changes in the number of travellers
- Domestic flight arrangements
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist reserves the right to charge administrative fees where applicable.
6. Passport, Visa and Travel Documents
Travellers are responsible for:
- Holding a valid passport with at least six months validity from the date of entry.
- Obtaining the appropriate visa for Tanzania.
- Ensuring compliance with all immigration and travel requirements.
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist is not responsible for denied entry resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documents.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers.
Your travel insurance should include:
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Lost or delayed baggage
- Personal liability
- Adventure activities such as mountain trekking where applicable
Travellers joining Mount Kilimanjaro climbs are particularly advised to obtain insurance that covers high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation.
8. Health and Medical Requirements
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for their chosen itinerary.
We recommend consulting your doctor regarding:
- Vaccinations
- Malaria prevention
- General travel health advice
Clients must inform us in advance of:
- Medical conditions
- Dietary requirements
- Mobility limitations
- Allergies or special assistance needs
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the safety and enjoyment of your trip.
9. Safari and Wildlife Disclaimer
Safaris involve travelling in remote wilderness areas and encounters with wild animals.
While every reasonable precaution is taken:
- Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Animal behaviour is unpredictable.
- Travellers must follow all instructions provided by their safari guide.
For your safety, clients must:
- Remain seated unless instructed otherwise.
- Never feed wildlife.
- Avoid unnecessary noise or sudden movements.
- Follow park regulations at all times.
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist shall not be held liable for incidents resulting from failure to comply with guide instructions or park regulations.
10. Itinerary Changes
Although we strive to operate all itineraries as advertised, circumstances beyond our control may require changes.
These may include:
- Weather conditions
- Flight schedule changes
- National park regulations
- Road conditions
- Government directives
- Accommodation availability
We reserve the right to substitute accommodation, transportation, or activities with comparable alternatives without affecting the overall quality of your experience.
11. Domestic Flights and Baggage Allowance
Domestic flights within Tanzania are operated by local airlines and are subject to their individual terms and conditions.
Please note:
- Baggage allowances vary by airline.
- Excess baggage charges are payable by the traveller.
- Soft-sided luggage is often required on bush flights.
- Flight schedules may change without prior notice.
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist shall not be liable for delays or schedule changes caused by domestic airline operators.
12. Accommodation
Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Should a property become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute it with a similar or higher standard accommodation whenever possible.
Room preferences are subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed.
13. Children’s Policy
Children are welcome on selected tours and safaris.
Parents or guardians are fully responsible for:
- Supervising children at all times.
- Ensuring children comply with safety instructions.
- Confirming age restrictions for certain activities.
Some lodges and camps may have minimum age requirements.
14. Force Majeure
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist shall not be liable for any delay, loss, injury, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Political unrest
- Terrorism
- Pandemics or epidemics
- Government restrictions
- Airline disruptions
- Severe weather conditions
- Strikes or industrial action
In such cases, additional costs incurred shall be the responsibility of the traveller.
15. Liability
K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist acts only as an agent for accommodation providers, airlines, transportation companies, and other third-party suppliers.
We shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury
- Illness
- Property damage
- Theft or loss of personal belongings
- Delays or cancellations caused by third-party suppliers
- Additional expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control
Participation in safari activities, mountain trekking, cultural experiences, and other adventure activities is undertaken entirely at the traveller’s own risk.
16. Photography and Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, photographs or videos voluntarily shared with us may be used for marketing purposes on our website and social media platforms.
Clients who do not wish their images or testimonials to be used must notify us in writing.
17. Complaints and Claims
If any issue arises during your trip, clients are encouraged to inform their guide or our operations team immediately so that reasonable efforts can be made to resolve the matter.
Any formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the completion of your tour.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By paying a deposit or confirming a booking with K & G Tanzania Travel Specialist, the traveller acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
