Day 1: Arusha – Maasai Village Experience
After breakfast, depart Arusha for a traditional Maasai village.
Spend the day learning about Maasai customs, visiting family homes, participating in cultural dances, exploring local traditions, and enjoying guided nature walks with Maasai warriors.
Visit local artisans producing colorful beadwork and handmade crafts before checking into your accommodation for dinner.

Day 2: Maasai Village – Lake Eyasi
Following breakfast, travel to the Lake Eyasi region.
Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon walking tour around the lake, observing birdlife and learning about the area’s unique ecosystem.
Relax while watching one of Tanzania’s most beautiful sunsets before dinner.

Day 3: Hadzabe & Datoga Tribal Experience
Rise early to join the Hadzabe Bushmen on a traditional hunting expedition through the bush.
Experience their incredible survival skills, hunting methods, and ancient way of life that has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years.
Later, visit the Datoga tribe to witness traditional blacksmithing demonstrations and learn about their important role within the region.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Village – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, travel to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, one of Tanzania’s most culturally diverse communities.
Enjoy a guided village walk through local farms, banana plantations, schools, markets, and artisan workshops. Taste seasonal tropical fruits and traditional Tanzanian cuisine while interacting with residents from different ethnic groups.

My wife and I had an unforgettable 5-day safari in the Serengeti with K&G Tanzania, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
