Day 1: Arusha – Lake Eyasi

Depart Arusha after breakfast and enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley toward the beautiful Lake Eyasi.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge before enjoying lunch.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk along the shores of Lake Eyasi while observing local birdlife and learning about the surrounding communities.

Day 2: Hadzabe Hunting Experience – Datoga Cultural Tour

Wake up before sunrise and join the Hadzabe Bushmen for an authentic hunting expedition.

Accompanied by experienced Hadzabe hunters, learn traditional hunting techniques using handmade bows and poisoned arrows while discovering edible plants, fruits, roots, and medicinal herbs found in the bush.

After returning from the hunt, enjoy cultural storytelling, traditional songs, and demonstrations of fire-making without matches.

In the afternoon, visit the neighboring Datoga community, famous for their blacksmithing skills. Watch local craftsmen transform recycled metal into knives, arrowheads, bracelets, and farming tools using centuries-old techniques.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Local Market Visit – Return to Arusha

Enjoy breakfast before visiting a local village market where different tribes gather to trade livestock, food, handmade crafts, and traditional products.

After lunch, begin your drive back to Arusha while enjoying spectacular scenery along the way.
